Fables with Animals: Evergreen Tradition



Fables with animals has been told by storytellers from various cultures since ancient times.  Fables live in all seasons and eras. Fables have become evergreen oral and written fictional stories for children convey the moral messages.

In Asia, Africa, and Europe, storytellers have been passed fable stories on people from one generation to the next generation through mainly oral tradition.
From Greek, we have Aesop’s fables for kids.
From India, we have Jataka’s stories.

Beside fable stories for children, fables are also told for the purpose to teach spirituality and life skills for adult learners.

Perhaps, fables have been existing since stone age but today, fables still exist as modern fictions. Trainers, preachers, speakers, and writers still use inspirational fable short stories for education, spiritual preaches, and business training.
